Ardingly Riding Club is a small friendly club and one of the oldest riding clubs in the country, being originally called East Grinstead Riding Club. The club does not have a permanent base, but caters for riders from within the North Downs and mid Sussex areas, surrounded by the towns of Dorking, Reigate, Redhill, Oxted, Edenbridge, Crowborough, Uckfield, Brighton, Henfield and Horsham.

The club is affiliated to British Riding Clubs and caters for senior riders, (18 years and over), and horses of all abilities. We are committed to making riding and competing fun for all concerned. We regularly hold training clinics for show jumping, cross country, arena eventing and dressage with qualified instructors at Bucklands Farm, Felbridge Showground, Alder Lake Farm, Coombelands, Pyecombe, Hickstead and other venues, which are advertised on our website as they are booked throughout the year.

The club runs events for dressage, combined training, a horse trial and a hunter trial during the year and prides itself on the professional administration of these events. Our events, as well as most of our clinics, are open to both non members and members, but of course our members benefit from a reduced fee. We also send senior teams to compete in area qualifiers for the British Riding Clubs National Championships and frequently qualify to represent our area at those championships.

Trophies are awarded at our AGM to members who have been successful in club events and team events during the year. We regularly send information about our activities to our members and organise other social events for our members throughout the year. Most of all we want Ardingly to be a riding club where everyone feels welcome. Our aim is to have something for everyone, whatever your equine interest and ability.

If you would like to join us please do so here.

We look forward to seeing you.
